It was probably about a week ago when I wrote a blog called, “When Ministry Isn’t Your Favorite…”
I may have underestimated our ministry at that time…
Since that week of camp I have LOVED ministry!
I have gotten to do manual labor and “go to town,” on HUGE roots buried in the ground with tools.
I have gotten better at cleaning up/making the yard look nice.
I have gotten to know our wonderful ministry hosts more! We had a family dinner with them last night; we cooked for them and they gave us all heart keychains to symbolize that we are always on their hearts and are their daughters. It was precious and such a wonderful memory!
I have learned to like working in the kitchen a little bit more!
I have been able to use my height to clean a lot of windows!
I have gotten to move furiture around while Kaiti would vacuum the room (and while Kaiti took snapchats of me ‘being Buff Meg or Beg.’)
I have bonded with Team Warriors and have grown to love and appreciate each individual woman on that team for the gifts and strengths they all have!
I have talked with my teammates all individually and feel like some healing of negative thoughts about the team have been healed!
There are 9 days left of ministry (including today) here in Bulgaria. At the beginning of the month, I would have been estatic to have reached this point and would have made a big deal about counting down. Now, I am a little sad. I am not quite ready to leave our wonderful hosts and I am looking forward to being together with my team and making these last 9 days THE BEST ONES YET FOR TEAM UPLIFT!
