For our last week of ministry in Bulgaria, team Uplift found out that they would be leaving Dobromerika and heading back to Sofia to serve in Mission Possible’s Office!
At first, it was super sad and disappointing to hear:
we didn’t want to leave Emmy and Vallo
we didn’t want to leave Irina
we didn’t want to leave Team Warriors
I had just started to LOVE it and was being uprooted and planted elsewhere.
WHAT THE HECK GOD? Is what I was thinking. You could see the disappointment and sadness on my face from a mile away I bet!
HOWEVER, God knew what He was doing.
Irina came with us to Sofia and we got to really see Pastor Petar’s character and love for the Lord.
MISSION POSSIBLE IS INCREDIBLE!
We have been able to sort and pack through TONS of baby clothes/kid’s clothing that is handed out FOR FREE to the poorest villages in Bulgaria. This box of clothes may be the only clothes the family has for their children!
The women who work here are amazing and totally Spirit-led. It is incredible. They have a prayer meeting every morning where they read Scripture and pray, sometimes for everyone, sometimes just in general!
We have felt so loved and welcomed. It feels like home.
We have 2 days of ministry left: 1 of continuing to pack the baby boxes and 1 of HANDING OUT BOXES TO THE FAMILIES! We are extremely excited for this opportunity we get to have in our last few days together as a team! We find out our new teams this week at Debrief.
God is going to be giving a lot of vision at this Debrief so keep all of S Squad in your prayers, as well as our Mentor Beka and Alumni Squad leaders as they fly in to meet us!
