This week marks 2 months exactly until I return home from the Race and I’m not ready.
*I’m not ready to leave this amazing loving and challenging community that is my squad.
*I’m not ready to stop exploring this huge world that our Papa created for us to live in and enjoy.
*I’m not ready to leave Zim. I truly love it here and PRAY God leads me back here.
*I’m not ready to be able to be thrown back into the chaos of having to find a job, possibly move (Wherever God is leading me, I’m going. My plans for what I’ll do when I get home are very much in God’s Hands and He’ll reveal them to me when I’m ready.)
*I’m not ready to leave Al and Shelley in 2 days time. They have become family.
*I’m not ready to try to explain all of the things that encompass the Race to people when I get home.
I’m not ready.
However, there ARE a few things I am ready for.
*I’m ready to see and physically touch my family and friends.
*I’m ready for Thanksgiving, it’s the best day of the year!
*I’m ready for all of the delicious food I’ve left in America.
*I’m ready to talk to people in person and not through Facebook Messenger.
*I’m ready to see my church family.
*I’m ready to meet all of my friends’ babies that were born while I’ve been away!
*I’m ready to see how to incorporate the things I’ve learned on the Race in America.
I’m ready.
