3ApaBo (also- not quite what it looks like but it’s the closest I can get! pronounced stravo – roll the “r”) That is Hello in Macedonian!

Can I just tell you how much I love this country? Seriously, love it! It is once again so beautiful, like Albania and the people are so nice and friendly! This month we are partnered up with a church pretty much ran by men. What is cool about them is most of them are recovered drug and alcohol addicts, so the way God has moved in their lives has been amazing! They are so great and are all SO on fire for our Father, it is awesome! (I’m writing a blog on them later because I love them so much!) We are also in Stip (pronounced Schtip) that is the cutest little town!

We have our “littles,” Abby and Renata with us this month (see my previous blog to read more about them.) Our ministry has looked a little differently each day. We help out with the various services throughout the week, I’m playing the guitar this month because Sookie still needs her strings replaced and so that’s been fun touching an instrument I literally hadn’t played since January, my last Sunday in church before leaving for the Race! We are doing home visits, relational ministy – looking for people to talk to while praying around the town, preaching/evangelizing, cleaning, more prayer walks, etc. We have also been given a nice amount of time everyday to spend in quiet time with the Lord (like Amad, back in Nepal, remember?)

Abby, AnnaGrace, Kaiti, sweet old woman we met on the street, Saraya, Renata, Mikayla, black-eyed me lol

Home visits are seriously the best! This lovely sister of ours was SO sweet to us! Saraya, Abby, and I really enjoyed her company and her amazing Macedonian hospitality!

This is our little pup that we wanted to keep; by “we” I mean AnnaGrace, Saraya, and myself haha

I just feel so at home here. Even Skopje (pronounced Sko-p-aye) is beautiful. It has a bunch of sculptures and old architectural buildings! It even has a gallery and chapel for my girl, Mother Teresa (yes I visited it, technically twice but who’s counting!) She was born in Macedonia so there’s a fun fact for you! I even bought a tshirt with the Macedonian flag on it, because it’s my favorite flag so far!

We have bonded well as a team and continue to all pursue the Lord, SO well! A little piece of my heart may be left here in Macedonia! Time is flying and we feel like we all just got here! It’s crazy! This week has been really busy and my next blog will tell you how much ministry last night ABSOLUTELY FILLED MY HEART!

Fala (the actual word fala will not appear with the real letters)  means THANKS… for reading that is! Stay tuned for more updates from Macedonia!

We found a great coffee place; this is where I write my blogs and am sitting here currently! 🙂
