I decided to give a short summary (I promise it WILL be short) of my team’s last week in Thailand.
It was a great week that we got to spend with our other translator Eden, our alumni Squad leader Amanda, and our raised up squad leader Jacob. We traveled to yet another town in Thailand and were responsible for teaching English in the mornings and then in the afternoon’s working on various projects including “surveying a plant in a jungle,” painting the outside wall of a school, sweeping/cleaning up around a buddhist temple, etc. We even got to have dinner with some of the teachers and talk to them about Jesus!
The students were super adorable, I had a kindergarten class to myself and just loved it! I just wish I had been able to understand Thai and speak Thai to them! My teacher was great as well! The last day of school we even got to show a Christian movie to the students, which was huge because we were in a super huge Buddhist area!
Thailand ended up being a great month and a great way to finish up Asia!
