It’s 5am and the alarm goes off. I hear it so I know that Papa has granted me another day to live on this earth. I hit the snooze once, sometimes twice, then get up, get dressed, grab my backpack, and head up to the roof.

It’s still dark out, but becoming lighter by the minute. The city is already buzzing with sounds of cars and motos and chickens. I grab one of the white lawn chairs and set up my little space on top of an AC vent.

First step, turn the tablet on for worship music. Second step, give thanks for the day and ask for b7essings over it. Third step, daily reading plan from “The Book.” Fourth step, sing or read “The Art of Listening P7ayer,” or “The Circle Maker.” Fifth and final step, watch both the sun and the S0n rise. It’s a great day to be alive.
