Greetings to all of my brothers and sisters all over the world,

I am in a blog writing frenzy right now; my team is calling me a blog machine right now! I just want to share my stories with all of you since I can’t pick up the phone and call or text you all! Nepal has just been filled with so many awesome experiences and stories to share so bare with me!  I still owe y’all my last blog from India too with pictures, I haven’t forgotten I promise!

Last Sunday was a scheduled “off” day or “adventure” day! Rachel (from my team) and I wanted to go back into Thamel just because it’s such a cool city! We got out of the taxi at a place where we thought we knew where we where, thought is the key word in that sentence! We start walking, don’t recognize anything. Keep walking, still don’t recognize anything. Decide to get in a rickshaw because the guy said he knew where to take us. We drove all around, soon realized he had no idea where he was going. We ask to get out, he tries to charge us $20, which is absolutely ridiculous, so we said no, and gave him 250 rupees. He was upset but we were even more upset that he didn’t take us to the right spot and then had the nerve to try to charge us $20.  We got into a cafe, realized that we needed to walk all the way back the way that the guy took us, and when we got out of the taxi we turned the wrong way or else we would have been 5 minutes away from where we needed to be! So frustrating, but that makes it more fun!

Rachel got the tattoo she had been wanting to get and then we went to a cafe for lunch. It was like my childhood sitting in the cafe, they were playing Spice Girls (like 7 songs in a row, no joke) and then it was Britney Spears songs from her “innocent” days all the way up through her career when she wasn’t so innocent. I loved it!

We got a couple more things then got in a taxi back to our house. It was a great afternoon for sure!!

Thanks for reading, God Bless you all!
