Well folks, we’re here! The time is finally upon us – I am less than a month away from the World Race! I know, crazy! So, in the spirit of the occasion, here are some updates:
- EMAIL UPDATE LIST
In addition to my blogs, I plan to send email updates on a monthly basis. If you would like to receive these emails, please either comment below or send me your email so I can add you to the list!
- WHERE’S MEGS CALENDARS
If you ordered a “Where’s Megs?” Calendar and have yet to receive it, please contact me soon. I’d love to make plans to get it to you! If I don’t hear from you, I will sell it at my Going Away party!
- FUNDRAISING
I cannot believe it. I am only $819 away from being FULLY FUNDED! I feel so blessed, and I am so thankful for everyone who has partnered with me and supported me! Please continue to pray that I would be fully funded before I leave! This would allow me the opportunity to be fully focused the work we are doing rather than distracted with fundraising from the field.
- GOING AWAY PARTY
My Going Away Party information is in the picture below! It’s going to be a blast. Important things to know:
- It will be open house style: feel free to come and go as you please.
- Sign my backpack for $2! It would mean a lot to have your name and note travelling with me!
- Also bonus prize: see what a Racer takes with her for 11 months abroad!
- There will be a taco bar, light snacks and treats!
- You can learn fun facts about the places I will visit.
- Yard games will make an appearance, so get your cornhole on!
- I’ll be there! That’s all you really care about, right? 😉 ha!
- PRAYER
This is going to be a journey for the books, and my squad and I will greatly appreciate you remembering us in your prayers. Pray for us to grow. Pray for us to listen to the Lord. Pray for unity. Pray for hearts to be changed. Wisdom, love, endurance…we just need lots of prayer, and we’ll take it all! 🙂

Even if I have access to wifi, I plan to be very distant from social media in order to engage fully in this incredible journey. Therefore, the majority of communication will be through this blog, and through those email updates. Please consider subscribing to my blog, so you’ll be updated immediately when I make a new post!
