Howdy partners! (Yeah…I’m not southern just sorta super obsessed with Toy Story).

So far, I have been overwhelmed by the amount of support I have had from my wonderful friends and family who have gathered around me. They have put the “fun” in fundraising, so if you’re looking for awesome ways to support me, check out the events below! Some information is subject to change, so watch out for updates.

FUN-draiser Dates:

  • Saturday, April 8 – Crafty Bear Fare: Nichol Crose and I will be selling Threads of Hope bracelets and keychains as well as taking donations at the Crafty Bear Fare in Mooresville.
  • Saturday, May 20 – Women’s Boutique Sale: Gently used women’s clothing and accessories will be sold at Life Pointe Church. Contact me if you have donations for the event.
  • Saturday, June 24 – Silent Auction Dinner: Buy tickets to a yummy dinner where a silent auction will take place for some prizes at Life Pointe Church.
  • Thursday-Saturday, June 22-24 – Bakery Sale: The Batter Bowl in Mooresville will be donating a percentage of each purchase to Nichol and I over the course of those three days.

Ongoing fundraisers:

  • T-shirts: $20, sizes S-3XL currently available, the order will be placed Saturday, April 8! Give me your t-shirt size now to guarantee you get a shirt! You can pay me later ??
  • Threads of Hope bracelets and keychains: Round Bracelets are $2 each or 3 for $5, Flat Bracelets are $4 each or 3 for $10, and keychains are $5 and will be sold for a couple months into summer.

All the funds listed on my blog cover my cost of living over the course of the year. The only thing that they do not cover, are the supplies I will take with me and the vaccinations I need. Unfortunately, I have never camped before and therefore do not have a lot of the necessary stuff! Please pray with me as I try to scrounge up the following list, and let me know if you are willing and able to help me acquire them!

  • Daypack: a regular sized school pack, not too large
  • Tent: 2-person, freestanding tent, including a rain-fly and a “footprint” (tent cannot exceed 5-6 lbs, 4 lbs would be preferable)
  • Bedding: a sleeping bag rated for at least 35 degrees, a sleeping bag liner, a sleeping pad, hammock
  • Rain jacket: quality, lightweight and breathable
  • Sandals: durable, waterproof (Keens)
  • Small pack towel: sarongs are recommended
  • Big quick dry towel (REI)
  • Pocket multi-tool or knife
  • Headlamp
  • Outlet/voltage converter
  • Packing Cubes
  • Travel sewing kit
  • Mosquito net

Please feel free to share this with friends and family! A HUGE thank you to my church family. They have been rockstars throughout this journey. My heart is overflowed with your love and support, and I am praying for you guys always! -{Philippians 1:3}-

To Infinity….AND BEYOND!!
