First off, I want to thank all of you for the love and support you have shown me over the last few months. I am 72% ($12,000)  funded for The World Race, WOW that is insane!! God is so so so faithful, and fundraising has been a huge testament to that for me. I have a fundraiser coming up in February that I am super stoked about, so be on the lookout for that if you would like to support me financially and help get me to $16,600!!

Over the past weekend I went on a very unplanned, spontaneous, super fun trip up the coast to San Francisco with my dad, little sister, and best friend. I put together a little video of some clips from the trip, and I will link it to the top of this blog so you can watch :))

Thinking back on the trip, I am reminded how important it is to be spontaneous and to live in the moment in my walk with God. We have so many opportunities to serve others or to be served, but sometimes we get caught up in the planning of it all, and we forget to stop and see what is right in front of us. This is something I am very guilty of, but have been trying to change. Before we left, I prayed that God would help me let go of some of my control, help to keep a positive and go with the flow attitude, and to have fun wherever I go. Boy did he answer my prayer.

Our hotel was on the cheaper side so it was not by any means the nicest, but I was so thankful for being able to have a place to lay down and sleep (even though it was noisy outside) and to shower after a long day. Parking in the city was hard to come by, but instead of being upset by having to walk up the huge San Francisco hills all day, I was excited to be able to see everything from my feet. God has the amazing power to change our perspective. I hope this is something I will continue working on the rest of my life, especially leading up to The World Race, as I’m sure things will not always go to plan there. Overall the trip was refreshing and so fun and it has made me even more excited for future adventures to come!!

If there is any way I can be praying for you guys, please let me know <3

Thanks!
