It is crazy to me that we are already entering into month 10.
As I reflect on our time in Panama, I see it as a great month of celebrating community. We were supposed to switch teams at the end of month 8. However, because of all the last minute changes, our leadership kept us in the same teams for one more month. I was really excited to have us altogether for Panama.
Since month 5 this team has been a team full of laughter, working out, pressing into the Spirit’s leading, encouragement, stepping out of one’s comfort zone, jokes, spike ball and my favorite card game, Rook. Each person on this team has pushed me along this journey in a way that has helped me grow, learn and listen.

Zach Lambert
Age:24
Hometown: Douglasville, Georgia
Hobbies/interest: Exercising, fixing things with his hands, learning guitar, eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, singing randomly, growing a beard, sleeping in his hammock, talking about his girlfriend Heather, or just talking in general.
One thing I love about Zach is his servant’s heart. He never fails to step in when something is broken, or just Megan proof. I can always depend on him to do the heavy lifting and do it with a cheerful heart.
Mack Brunney
Age: 23
Hometown: Grove City, Ohio
Hobbies/Interests: Sports, fighting, planning excursions, telling stories, praying for others, wearing his teammate’s clothes, reading and being awkward when it’s not really awkward.
What I love about Mack is his story telling. Yes, he may be a little dramatic at times, but he always makes me laugh and he always makes me feel like I am part of the story.
Averi Adams
Age: 24
Hometown: Stillwater, Oklahoma
Hobbies/Interests: art, painting, videography, reading Harry Potter, looking up random facts about movies we watch, receiving pictures of her dogs from home, taking naps, making me laugh, and working with special needs children.
What I love about Averi is the way she lights up when she is operating out of her passions. Whether it is making videos in Romania, painting murals in Zimbabwe, or serving a deaf child in Panama, she glows when she can serve in her gifts.
Jonathan Anthony
Age: 23
Hometown: Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania
Hobbies/Interests: Ultimate Frisbee, soccer, playing Rook, watching movies, reading the Bible, spike ball, face timing his family back home, beating Ethan, serving others in need, avoiding taking pictures and eating sour patch kids.
Something I really admire in Jonathan is his ability to cultivate community. He loves to be active and he is always intentional in inviting others to join in on what he is doing. Some of my favorite memories these past five months include spikeball tournaments, long games of rook or team movie nights.
Ashlyn Hermann
Age: 24
Hometown: Wichita, Kansas
Hobbies/Interests: Writing, boogie boarding in the ocean, biology, caring for others, spending time with family and friends, making and eating guacamole, laughing, reading, playing with her dogs, and being in nature.
I really love how intentional Ashlyn is with those around her. She loves people in her community well, and she is intentional to serve people we encounter in ministry. She is deep, thoughtful, wise, and she has taught me how to be a better friend.
Ethan (e-money) Floyd
Age: 26
Hometown: Vidalia, Georgia
Hobbies/ Interests: evangelizing, preaching, being the center of attention, basketball, speaking Spanish, eating all types of food, talking to people, beating Jonathan, working out, spending time with Jesus, and making all of us laugh a lot.
What I love about Ethan is his passion for Jesus. He has a gift of connecting with anyone he meets, and does not fail to share Jesus’ good news with them. He is encouraging, funny, and on a great mission with Christ.
