Panama was filled with playing sports with kids in the mountains, teaching English, helping with homework, playing in the ocean, building benches, running a vbs and buying coca-cola from our sweet friend Teresa down the street.
What I think really made this month special was the opportunity to host two awesome girls from the United States. Nicole and Katie joined the exposure program with AIM, along with 4 others. This program allows curious young people to come out to join a world race team for a month to see if it were something they would like to do in the future.
We loved Nicole and Katie! They were a perfect fit for our team, and we wish they could have stayed to finish the race with us!
