Romania was filled with a lot of highs and lows.
Some wonderful moments included:
- Being with the entire squad for all squad month
- Hanging out with a lively bunch of kids in the village of Berindei
- House visits and laughter with Mia
- Meeting a new friend and praying with her to receive Jesus
- A delicious Thanksgiving meal
- Seeing the beautiful sights throughout Romania
Some harder moments included:
- Being away from home during the holidays
- The constant cloudy days
- A relentless flu bug
- A mouse who ate my chocolate bar
All in all, this month taught me a lot about the importance of intercessory prayer, evangelism, and abiding in love.
Now, we are ready for some African sunshine! My squad is leaving tomorrow night for a long two and a half day journey to Malawi. We are breaking out into our three teams, and my team will be placed in Mzuzu, Malawi. The wifi is expected to be less available, but I will try my best to keep you all updated.
