Hey everyone!

I am writing to you from a little coffee shop in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The last few days we have been debriefing as a squad before we enter month 7 in Thailand!

We have been reflecting on the last few months and all that God has been teaching us. I realized that Cambodia has been one of my favorite months so far, which is funny because it was the one I was least looking forward to. I knew it would be hot and humid, have a stricter dress code, and I was afraid of eating a lot of weird foods.

Although physically this was the hardest month, I really enjoyed the consistency in our ministry teaching English. I loved seeing the same 10 students each evening and spending an hour laughing as we tried our best to teach/learn English and learn about each other.

I grew to love being called teacher, pronounced “tee-cha.” It truly is amazing how much the Lord can do despite a hard language barrier.

Along with teaching A LOT of English, we spent the month encouraging women working with Landmine Design (check it out at Landminedesign.org), helping out at kids church and attending youth group. We also had pretty great hosts that we enjoyed getting to know and will miss!

Here’s a video recap of the month, enjoy!
