Hey all!
Last time I wrote I was sitting in the Tokyo airport, exhausted and in the middle of adjusting to really fast change. Today I am sun burnt and exhausted, but I have a full heart. We have made it to Panama and I love being back in Central America. Although, I do wish I were in Nicaragua, God has gone before us and has placed us in a really cool situation.
We are working with a sweet missionary couple who have a heart for deaf ministry, reaching the lost youth, and planting a church among the indigenous people in San Felix. They have welcomed us in (even last minute) and we are grateful for their hospitality. We are also a 2-minute walk from the beach, not a bad view!
Today we ran a vbs for a few of the kids here on the beach and we have really enjoyed our time with them. We are spending some time in the mountains with the indigenous tribes, as well as doing some construction in various places next week.
I have loved using my Spanish so far and hope my team and I can continue to learn and communicate well with the people we are serving this month.

Prayer requests:
- That our time here can be fruitful and effective
- That we can pick up the language quickly
- That an evening with just the girls on the beach can come together so we can speak to them about their worth in Christ. Young girls are very vulnerable in this area and susceptible to abuse, prostitution and low self-esteem.
- Good health
- Supernatural strength and energy as we finish the last three months of the race
- Peace in Nicaragua. The civil unrest is continuing and even escalating.
Thank you everyone for your prayers and support, it means so much!
*We have 6 young women who have joined our squad for the month through the exposure program at AIM. It is a chance for people who are interested in doing the World Race to get a taste of what it is like. My team is blessed to have Nicole and Katie with us, they fit right in!
