Meet my squad and team! I am so excited to be spending 9 months with all of them!

This is my team – Team Abandon. We have given ourselves the name abandon because there have been so many things that we all had to abandon coming here. We had to abandon our old selves and give up everything to come serve the Lord and do what he has planned for us. We had to abandon our families and friends back home, our warm comfy beds, nice hot showers, actual toilets and sinks, the freedom of going wherever we want to and eating whatever we want.

Even though we abandon so much the good thing is that God will never abandon us.

Jodi Owens

Jodi is my squad mentor. She will be here to disciple my squad. The Squad Mentor leads the squad remotely throughout the year and is in constant communication with the leadership on the field. Jodi will be doing the physical and spiritual journey with us, both from Georgia and on the field with us a couple times throughout the year.
Tim and Karen

Tim and Karen are our coaches. They work alongside Jodi to lead the squad and the leadership team on the squad.

This is my amazing squad leader Bernadette. She will be walking with us as we grow in our walk with Christ. She will be traveling, ministering, and leading us for the full 9 months. I am so thankful for her willingness to come beside us and lead us closer to God where we need to be.

Kate is the best team leader ever. She is an alumni from World Race Gap Year last year. She will be leading the 6 of us women that you will meet down below. Sadly she will only be with us for the first 3.5 months while we are here in Gainesville, Georgia. I love how passionate she is to help us grow in our walk with Christ.

Briana has her heart set on knowing who God is personally. She is always trying to grow closer to Him through everything that she does. She cannot wait to see what God does through those she serves.

Clara Jane is beyond ready to go into the world and share the good news that God has given to us. She can’t wait to lead others to Christ.

Abby is so committed to God and what He has planned for her. She has such a willing heart to do whatever He asks of her.

Kaitlyn has such a heart for people. Always wanting to serve others around her and lead them all to Christ.

Reagan loves others around her so much even if she doesn’t know them. She is ready to sacrifice everything to better the kingdom of God.
I cannot wait to live in community for the next 9 months with these amazing women of God!! God has given such an amazing team and I am so ready to get to know all of them and grow closer to them and to the Lord together all while serving others in the Kingdom. I am so excited to see what God has planned for all of us as we step out and follow Him wholeheartedly!
