This month we don’t have a ministry. WHAAAAT?!?!
[ We get to run wild through the streets of Yerevan, we get to do whatever we want and just have fun! ]
Ok, ok, that’s not really the truth! BUT we are having fun!
This month is unique…we don’t have a specific ministry, I wasn’t kidding about that. We don’t have a human organizing ministry opportunities for us.
But we do have GOD.
God is our ministry host this month…and the Holy Spirit is our point of contact. It’s a little outrageous, right?
This month is what the World Race calls, ATL—Ask the Lord.
Each day we wake up and simply ask the Lord what He has for us that day. It’s a little wild and takes a lot of faith to trust that we’re hearing from Him. But already, just 3 days into Armenia, it has been so cool to see the Lord taking over our idea of ministry.
This blog is simply an intro…an intro to this month of ATL and pressing into what the Lord has in store for me, my team and my squad. I don’t know what all is going to happen yet, but I do know that the Lord has spoken to me. He has given me direction and living a life in an “ATL” way is so sweet!
SO, with that said. one of the ATL things the Lord has called me to do is to post a blog EVERY SINGLE DAY this month. It’s going to be hard…
- What if the words don’t come out on the page the way I imagine?
- What if I just don’t have words?
- What if no one reads them because there are too many?
- What if people get sick of reading everything I write?
- What if I miss one?
- Will people give me grace?
These are all fears I have in posting this blog and telling all of you this challenge the Lord has put on me this ATL month. I am going to ask you humbly for your encouragement, kind words and grace in the process.
Thank you for reading, thank you for being excited about what the Lord is doing in my heart during my race. I feel so blessed!
