Hey mom 🙂
I know you’re probably always one of the first to read most of my blogs (which I appreciate so much!) and I hope you are for this one.
First of all, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! Wow, I’m so absolutely blessed to have you as my mom.
Mom, you are full of grace and truth.
You are full of life and faith and you take everything to the father.
You trust in His plan and you wait on His timing.
You are a woman of your word and a rock for our family.
The Lord has shown me what true and beautiful submission looks like through you.
He has taught me, through you, how to love unconditionally, how to be a faithful wife and how to guide your children without smothering.
You are bold, confident and yet so peaceful. We were studying peace today as a team and the word in Hebrew is ‘Shalom’ but it means more than just peace. It also means completeness. I have seen you walk in peace and completeness for my whole life in so many ways, specifically pertaining to your relationship with the Lord.
I love that you find your identity in the Lord and that the other roles you carry just flow from that.
Thank you for being a mother, a friend, a wife, a dedicated worker, someone who doesn’t do things half way, a woman who strives for excellence in all things and most of all a dedicated follower of Jesus.
Thank you for being my biggest example in life and my biggest supporter along with dad. I love you. I hope I continue to grow up to be like you.
