Now to introduce the 2nd, of 6, teammate!!
Jada. Also known as Shada, Shaeda or Joda.
Jada has a deep knowledge and love for the word of God. Her Bible is filled with highlighter marks and probably weighs twice as much as when she bought it because of all her pen markings and sticky notes. She has inspired me so much in digging deeper into the meaning of what scripture holds as well as the love the Father has for us.
I remember at training camp in August, when we all gave our ‘YES’ to GO, we walked down the line of each member of our squad and gave a big, emotional hug. Jada, at the time, did not like hugs and she simply gave me a high five. I was ok with it, but I wondered about this girl…who was she and why doesn’t she love hugs? (I LOVE hugs so it was a little foreign to me.) But since being on team Zish, Jada has hugged me so many times! She has snuggled and one of the sweetest moments I’ve had with her was when she rushed to my bed, fell on me, wrapped me in a hug and said, “I love you, Meg”.
She is sweet and has such an excitement for life. Her love for young girls is so deep and so passionate. When she sees a girl that needs love, her eyes fixate on them, she finds a way to get to them and connects immediately. She truly reflects the deep love of God. She loves her family, Logan (her boyfriend), West Virginia, cooking, movies, the Bible, babies, Dr. Pepper she’s learning to love snugs and she does NOT like dogs.
Being on a team with Jada has been such an encouragement — especially in pressing into the word.
You’re a blessing to me, Jada! Love you.
