This weekend we stayed in San Pedro de Los Milagros, pueblo about an hour north of Medellín where our ministry church, Ministerio Vida Nueva, has a baby church.
There were tears of sorrow, healing, and joy!
I saw my teammates step into ares of faith and discomfort and THRIVE.
And the Spirit moved…A LOT!
God revealed gifts to me and others, and He used us.
We grew in our relationship with each other, with the people of the church and the community.
We stepped out in faith and evangelized (in another language).
We ministered to children.
We did individual home visits and the Lord MOVED.
We were blessed by the people around us and got to bless them in return.
I made lifelong sisters who now have a piece of my heart.
We prayed over a home that was in captivity and we saw the Lord begin to break chains.
And SO MUCH MORE.
This weekend was far more than I could have ever imagined or hoped for. The sacrificial spirit of the Colombian people in astounding! I praise the God of the universe for putting our teams here, in this place, at this time, with this ministry. If the rest of the World Race looks ANYTHING like this month in Colombia, my life after the race could never ever have the chance to be the same.
I am already changed.
God has already shown Himself to me in ways I have never experienced.
I can ONLY IMAGINE what the next 10 months will look like and I’m STOKED for it! (And somewhat terrified to feel these feelings of love in 10 other places).
Thank you for reading.
Thank you for your support.
And most of all, thank you for your prayers.
God is so good and I am humbled by the fact that He is using me and my team to change the world of individuals here in Colombia!
