Today is our last full day in Armenia. It’s bitter sweet, as are most goodbyes on the world race. It’s almost always hard to leave each country. We make connections, we do incredible things, and we spend time growing closer to the Lord in all of these places. But in every country, we see His Kingdom. So, here are some pictures to help you see some of the incredible things we have seen and done this month (because believe it or not, my daily blogs didn’t tell you everything we did!).

Meeting at the Table.

This is such a beautiful thing that we have the opportunity to do often on the race. Whether that means meeting for a coffee, a meal or just to have a one-on-one and get to know each other deeper, meeting at the table is something I never want to stop doing. I hope to incorporate this type of ‘internal’ ministry to my life when I return home…meeting with those you are already close to and fostering those relationships is such an incredible and sweet form of ministry.

Adventure days.

We honestly didn’t take many adventure days this month. A lot of us decided that our adventure day needed to be a second Sabbath, so we rested. But 4 of us did take an adventure day out to Khor Virap Monastery that overlooks Mount Ararat and the border of Turkey.

Beauty in all of it.

We saw beauty in this city. In the sights, the flowers, the trees, the smells, and the people, we saw so much beauty. THIS IS KINGDOM.

Ministry

Ministry has looked like so many different things this month. From painting in the park, going to the Armenian genocide museum, worship in the park, Bible studies in coffee shops to gym ministry (unfortunately, no pictures with my friends from the gym). And there was so much in between that.

Adventures in Missions stresses that ministry is life and life is ministry, we experienced that this month. There was no end to ministry and it was FUN. Ministry was something we did in every step we took. It was fun, it was messy, it was relaxing, it was restful and it was life changing.

Team Time.

This was our last month as team Zola-ish and it was a sweet one. We were intentional with each other, we grew, we worked through the hard things, we ate together, we lived on our own so we had a space for just our team and we were intentional about doing ministry together often. Team time can look so many different ways…sometimes it was getting ice cream, playing games, painting, reading together, doing feedback, telling testimonies, going to the opera and so many other things.
