May was a month of major giving and I’m so thankful for it! God, through my supporters, was so generous to me by more than doubling my raised funds for this coming year of full-time mission work for the Kingdom. I want to exceed this giving in June and give y’all the opportunity to have an exciting role in what I’m doing! This month, I’m starting a new fundraiser that I think you’ll go nuts over!
Adopt-A-Jar is an interactive fundraiser the whole family, classroom, church or workplace can get involved in! It just takes an initial $20 donation to claim your jar. Here’s how it works…
1. Claim your jar. There are 11 jars, 1 representing each country I will be doing ministry in. If I have a ton of interest (More than 11), no worries! I’ll get more jars-that would be FABULOUS!
2. Empty the jar its delicious contents and enjoy them!
3. Start filling the jar with coins, bills And sticky notes with scripture, encouraging notes and prayers. If you fill it all the way, count the raised money, make a note of it, save the notes and start over!
4. In the middle of September (just days before I leave!), we will do 1 of 2 things…either…
—I will collect your jar and its contents and donate all the raised funds directly to my mission trip and hang on to all the encouragement and scripture y’all added.
—OR you can count the money, donate it on my blog (mega gabrielse.theworldrace.org) and mail me the notes!
5. Finally, if you choose to support me, you will have the opportunity to be a huge part of this missions trip and what God is doing in my life, but also in the lives of people all over the world.
I encourage you to prayerfully consider adopting a jar and supporting me or simply visiting my blog, reading and following it, and if you feel led, giving in that way.
