The last few days at debrief have been filled with changes. Some were simple; some not.
1. I’m now in Ecuador.
It rains every day. That’s weird since I’ve been living in the desert. I feel like I’ve never seen so much green.
2. We have a route change.
My route had been Peru-Ecuador-Colombia-Montenegro-Albania-Bulgaria-Nepal-India-Malaysia-Thailand-Cambodia. Now my route is Peru-Ecuador-Colombia-GREECE-Montenegro-Albania-(Asia is the same for now).
I’m going to Greece in April to work with Syrian refugees! I’m so excited to have an impact in this crisis.
Please be praying about the situation and our journeys there. Also this change necessitates additional funds. The whole squad needs to raise $2000 together. I’ll let you know next month how to give if you feel led.
3. I have a new teammat and a new team name.
The leadership rearranged a few of the teams. My team will now include Mary Heflin! I’m so excited about this. She is an amazing woman of God who I can learn from. She is also caring, creative, and funny. 🙂
We haven’t settled on our new name but I’ll let you know when we do.
Pray we unite both in ministry and in fun.
I also made some pretty big personal changes. That will all be in the next blog.
