Do you ever doubt God's power? Do you ever put God in a box and only allow him to show up when you need him?

This has been a constant pattern in my life. I have put God in a box and only let him be a part of certain aspects of my life.I have doubted his goodness and blamed him for my misfortunes. If something went wrong in my life, I thought God was doing it to spite me. I pictured the God from the Old Testament laying down the law. I questioned his miracles and did not thinkthat God worked in this world the same as he did in the Bible. I only allowed God to be a part of the good and non-messy parts of my life.

I knew God was and is a powerful God capable of the impossible, but I questioned his power because it is hard to believe in the unseen.

This month God has been showing and teaching me a lot about his power. Our contact talks about miracles and how God shows up on a daily basis. It is from gold dust showing up in our hands to men who are bald growing their hair back. I decided to have a open mind this month. I wanted God to show me that he is capable of the impossible.

On our first Sunday here a man was healed. He had not been able to move one of his hands for years because of the pain. After he was prayed for, the pain was gone and he was able to move his hand again. This has been a recurring thing here in Honduras. People are constantly been healed!

Why are the people here more likely to get healed? Why does God's power feel more alive in this nation than in the States?

The people of Honduras are so eager for God's power and love. They don't question God's power. They understand that he is capable of the impossible. They allow him to show up in every situation. They have child like faith and believe without seeing. Our contact has talked about how God still does miracles. When we ask for a miracle and it is in God's will, he will do it in his timing. When we as Christians live in such a way of not expecting God to bring miracles, we are limiting his power and ability. We are forcing him in a box and giving him a set of rules to go by. If we continue to do this we will never experience the God we are searching for and long to

have a relationship with.

Are you going to settle with shoving God in a box or let him do the impossible through your lives?
