The Lord has been teaching me a lot as I enter into a new season of the worldrace. This new season including a new continent, new language, new team, new leadership role, and a lot more newness. The same overwhelming sense of pure- untouchable joy that I had the moment I decided to go on the worldrace is what I want for myself and my squad as we enter into a new season. I want us to feel that joy and excitement to see God do CRAZY and radical things! I have been asking Holy Spirit to show me He is a God who can answer the bold and seemingly impossible prayers. I am pressing into something greater this year. 2015 is going to be a year of the God of the impossible to move in these nations, to move in the hearts of people we are meeting on a day to day basis. This new season is going to be so exciting! I have the privilege to step into a leadership role known as a squad leader on my squad. It changes the dynamic of my worldrace experience entirely, but where I am weak God is strong. I believe He is going to do amazing things this year on my squad and I am excited to see how the Lord will use me to help lead and cultivate some of that culture on this squad. Month five in Malaysia is going to be training and shadowing our current squad leaders before they step down, and from their myself and two other squad mates ( Jacob & Liz) will take over squad leading for the remaining six months. Part of what I have done to prepare my heart for entering into this new season is process a lot of really good questions of what I want to see the Lord do in this new season, what kind of growth do I want to happen, what have I learned already, and more. I made a list of 10 impossible prayers I am pressing into and believing the Lord will fulfill 2015. So I will end this blog with a few of the things I wrote on the list. I encourage you all back home to think of what your 10 radical prayers for 2015 would be and watch God work as you cross them off one by one- because I believe He is ABLE of ALL THINGS.
In 2015 I am praying that God opens a door for me to go to an underground church in Malaysia, go to Iris Ministries in Mozambique, meet a brother/sister in another country who becomes a lifetime friend, see someone radically healed, and see someone with a lot of power & authority come to know Christ.
Believe with me?!
