Today our squad took
communion. I think it would be easy to say that it was emotional because of the
fact that it’s Good Friday. But, I’d like to think that it was simply God’s
megaphone coming in loud and clear.
God told me to picture
this and then share it with others. So, that’s what I’m going to do. God says
that He is Love. And Jesus is God, so this is fitting. God asked me to picture
Jesus, in all His humanity, spread out on the cross for all to see. The world
defiled Him. The world spit on Him. The world didn’t believe that He was who He
said He was. But Scripture tells us that despite that, while Jesus was on the Cross:
Jesus was Kind. 
Jesus did not envy.
Jesus did not boast.
Jesus was not arrogant.
Jesus was not rude.
Jesus did not insist on
His own way.
Jesus was not irritable.
Jesus was not resentful.
Jesus was not rejoicing in
wrongdoing.
Jesus was Rejoicing
in Truth.
Jesus Bore all
things.
Jesus Believed
all things.
Jesus Hoped
all things.
And Jesus Endured all
things.
AND
JESUS NEVER ENDS
Be blessed in knowing that
Christ truly has died to sin and has been raised into eternal life. You need to
know that at every step of the way, He took your sin and shame with him and
that if you so choose, you get to sit with Him in that eternal bliss.
