Back in New Zealand, i had the wonderful honor of working with a lovely lady named Laura. She was a co-leader with me at the kids camp and it truly was a blessing getting to know her more! after she had left, she sent me a little sheet of paper that has been truly rocking my world lately. I love to read it over and over. Then I got to thinking, I think other people need to hear this, too. This is for anyone who is taking their life captive for the Lord. Your ministry may not be across a big ocean, but rather, it’s in your classroom or your job. Be blessed!  Miss Laura, I hope you don’t mind, but I’m going to share your powerful words. You’re amazing and I thank God that I have the honor of calling you my sister! Bless you big!

Memories may fade but remember you’re on more than a sight-seeing trip. You’re traveling yes, but your ultimate discorvery already sits inside. It’s just as much about discovering new land as it is realizing what land you already have.

Dormant, for you, will not do. You’re daring to awaken it and the fact that you’re daring makes you inspirational. Because what is inside you is MASSIVE. Most are scared by magnitude, they run and hide. But you, you’re trying to encourage it. You’ve even sacrificed to see it. the rumors and whispers do not satisfy, instead you’ve put yourself in the open becase you want to see more of it. because your heart will not rest until you live more of it. because your life yearns for nothing else but to experience more of it.

What is it? It is not you. It’s God. God inside of you.

My prayer for you over the coming year is this:

May you come to know the fullness of God. Forever may you be astounded at what God has placed inside you. and may you watch yourself be used to fulfill a divine commission.

God. Others. You. Three things that actually matter. Put them together and what do you get? You tell me. This is your year-thank you for not wasting it. kia kaha (stand tall) and life blessed.
