You will find out so much more about me through the blogs I will post over the next year! I invite you to join me on this journey…
Allow me to introduce myself!
My name is Megan Parham and I live in the small town of Hartwell, Georgia.
For starters, I have the most amazing family!!
I am the youngest of four children and am blessed to have two wonderful, loving, and supportive parents who fear the Lord. They always stand behind me in whatever I do offering advice and wisdom when needed. I have 9 precious nieces and nephews that are a huge part of my life!
{

I have been in ministry for 7 years. I am currently the Student Minister at Cross Roads Baptist Church and Program Director of HYDRA, a non-profit organization that works with teens in our community.

I just graduated Seminary last May with my Masters in Christian Ministry.

I like to sing, dance, run, drink coffee, eat, be merry, spend time with family and friends, enjoy life, and… oh yeah… i also really really really love FOOTBALL!!
I am a huge football fan and i enjoy going to any and all kinds of football games…well, for the most part!! ![]()

Although that is a little about my interests and my life, it all pales in comparison to the most important part of who I am, which is ultimately defined in Christ. I came to know Jesus when I was 9 years old and through the faithful leadership of my Pastor, Youth Minister, and church family I was taught what it means to follow Christ. I have had my ups and downs, made many poor choices along the way, and went through trials and dark times in my own spiritual life. It is, however, these highs and lows that have shaped who I am today and my understanding of who God is. We were created to be in relationship with the Maker of the Universe. That is God’s ultimate desire, that we would all bring God glory through knowing Jesus Christ and living a life that reflects His ministry. I have been on many mission trips and have found that the heart of Christ is in ministering to other people with grace and compassion.
⇒ GOD IS IN LOVE WITH PEOPLE!
If I am in love with God then my mission is to LOVE PEOPLE. My prayer for this next year of my life is to be in love with people in such a way that they can see Christ in and through me. It is only by Christ that I
live
and move
and breathe.
Thank you Jesus!!
“If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.”
Colossians 3:1-4
