"Where you go I'll go, what you say I say God. What you pray I pray."-Kim Walker
Sovereign Lord,
I often wonder how you could use me? A girl who was living in sin and shame. A girl who forgot she was beautiful because you created her. A girl who gave in and lowered her standards far more then she should have. A girl who looked for security in men rather then her heavenly Father. A girl who forgot that her body was a temple of the Holy Spirit! She was raised in knowing this, it was living it out that was different.
Then I remember that your grace is enough to sustain me. It is by your blood ,Jesus ,that my sins are forgiven and that is why salvation is here. It is not some holy concept that I can not grasp, or about trying to earn forgiveness. That is why you gave us your son Jesus, who died on the cross for ALL our SINS and he washed them away! They are gone! The old is gone and the new has come! It is about living out my faith, because faith without action is dead. I have been “born again”, and I am made alive through your son Jesus. Not by anything I have done but by grace alone. What good is it for me to say I believe in you and for me to have this burning passion and desire within, but just keep it all to myself??
Lord, you are my Father and you love me despite my failures. You have lifted me out of darkness and despair and created in me a light that will shine forth to the nations. What you pray I pray too. Where you Go I'll go God. I will follow you… You can use my story for your glory God. For that reason I have hope. Father, I pray that you help me shine this light of your Holy Spirit to a world that so desperately needs a promise, a hope, and a love to believe in! We are sons and daughters of a KING! Let us not forget that.
Recently at Elevation church, our worship band taught us a new song about how “Your love in us is how we change the WORLD”….this is true. It is through your love that we can change the world. Let us see through your eyes the way that you see the world. Let us say we believe in you God.
When I sing “ God you lifted me out, God you lifted me out, and I’ll tell all the world”, I want to mean it…No matter where you are or what you have done I promise God STILL loves you and still wants to lift you out. If God has lifted you out let us rise up as Christians and be a little bolder in our faith. Time on earth is limited. Your words are here today and gone tomorrow like the wind. Let us make every moment count. Time in heaven is eternal…
Thank you Lord, that you could use me for Kingdom purposes despite my past sins and failures. What a beautiful, beautiful thing.
Love,
Megan Nicole

AMEN!!
