This Thanksgiving….

Thank you For…

Clean water, Food to eat, My Health, and the Clothes on my back,

For a place to lay my head at night,

For showers,

and For meeting my every need & then some…

Thank you for smiles.

For Laughter.

For Heartache and Tears.

For it is through brokenness that you speak to me.

By Breaking Me Apart you can put all the pieces back together again.

Thank you for Healing Wounds, for Making me New Again,

Pure, White, and Washed in your forgiveness & love,

For making me into something Beautiful & for caring enough to redirect my paths.

Thank you for Grace, for HOPE, and for your Compassion.

For the redemption that sweeps over me like a crashing wave,

For Freedom that embraces me as I dive in head first into the unknown,

And Thanks Father for catching me when I am free-falling.

For loving me the same despite past failures.

For providing abundantly…even if we don’t feel we deserve the blessings.

For Giving me the Joy of Your Presence,

Thank You Father…

That you love the widows and the orphans,

and that you even take care of the birds of the air,

How much more will you take care of us?

Thank you,

That your Perfect Love drives out all fear.

That you reign above all and that you are soveirgn,

That you are enough, my portion, my everything.

For your Peace, and the Fruits of Your Holy Spirit,

Thank you for LIFE which you contantly breathe into us,

Thank You Most of All

That You are never giving up on us…

Even if we feel like giving up on ourselves.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you

I just want to say Thank You.

This Thanksgiving is very different because for the first time in 25 years of celebrating with family, I will not be with my family. What I have realized that as I travel about to all these countries, is that God always provides family. We are ONE family. We are united through Christ. I have met a lot of family along the way; Mothers, Fathers, Grandmothers, Sisters, Brothers and Children. My teams & contacts have become a lot like family. I have been learning the true meaning of family while on this 11 month journey. This thanksgiving I am also thankful for the favor of the Lord and in that the freedom and life that comes with his love.

This Thanksgiving we are so blessed to have a turkey and a thanksgiving meal in the Philippines with our 2 teams that are in Mindinao. We will be making lots of traditional foods including pumpkin pies. We will be celebrating with some of the men from the jail rehabilitation house: New Life & Jodi ( former World Racer) who has given her heart and life to serve these men to bring them to know Christ. Please keep her, all the men, & the children from KIM(Kids International Ministries) in your prayers this thanksgiving.
