God has been smacking me in the face that I am supposed to go on this trip.
Tonight I went down to NODA, which is an art’s district in Charlotte to sell Threads of Hope Bracelets… Not only did this provide hope for families in the Philippines but it provided me with hope, and assurance. I met a group of Ladies tonight who were buying bracelets and telling me about Missions Trips they went on & plan on going on. Once again, it was NO coincidence that one of the girls I met, Megan, was telling me about how she had been to Tanzania and Romania. God orchestrated conversations. I LOVE those. Romania and Tanzania are 2 of the Countries on the World Race route I will be on. I totally have the chills. This is not the first time I have met someone who has been to a Country I will be going to. Last time in Noda I met someone from the Philippines (another county I am going to).
Many many things are happening that point to ” Megan , you are meant to go on this trip. NO DOUBT”- Love, God
- My dad just got back from China not long ago which is ANOTHER country I am going to. He travels for work and this was his first time there…
- Realizing my neighbors @ the apartment complex I was living at was a youth Pastor (another smack in the face- Megan you are supposed to work with youth) + ran into him today & go to chat about some things…
plus a number of many other things…
Tonight was a great reminder tonight of WHY I am going on this TRIP & How God truly has called me. There is absolutely no trace of doubt that I am going and leaving in August. Almost every day it seems I get an assurance or reminder that YES I am meant to go.
The girls I met told me about a house for Orphans called Stella’s House. It is a house in Romania where they rescue orphans. Check it out… (video below)
God has been speaking to me through other people about things I will encounter on this trip & about what He has in store. This is NOTHING to do with me. God is seriously at work right now and I am in awe. I have the chills and cannot sleep. Holy Spirit you are alive & well. Even in a broken world where so many live in the dark. You shine your light brighter than ever and if we only began to acknowledge your presence a little more we would begin to understand the unfathomable love you have for us Lord & that your ways are higher than any of ours.
Dear Father,
Please bless all the people I came into contact with tonight & their amazing heart & passion for your Kingdom. Some of these people include but are not limited to Mercedes ( raising funds for a Christian organization which helps Orphans), Josh (also with Mercedes), Crystal (sells necklaces and writes messages based out of the book of Solomon), Stefanie (someone who loves Missions work and has been on many trips)and Megan (with her friends).

Oh yes and then there is the person who God has laid on my heart who is supposed to be on our August squad. We lift up your name to our Father in Heaven right now & we pray that God gives you the boldness to step out in faith. You are being called by God to go on this trip. I am hearing God so clearly it is unmistakable. Whether or not you listen that is up to you…
