Since being in D.C. ,the Lord has already been teaching me a lot of things, some of them all over again, because I am a forgetful child who stumbles. I am a daughter who needs her Daddy to pick her up when she falls, and I need reminders of how much he loved me so that I can love others in that intense way. This week we talked a lot about preferring others as Christ prefers us….How we honor other’s needs about our own. This is the beginning of an incredible journey that has really begun and is here, now! It is such an amazing opportunity that we all have to see the world and to share the love of Christ with those around us that we encounter.
My heart is so thankful for all of those friends, and family members, and the body of Christ that has supported me to be able to begin this incredible journey! I love you all so much…. I have decided to start video blogs which will be at least a monthly occurrence….
About to board a 14 hour flight to Doha Qatar and then off to Kenya after that. My heart is beating so fast…Feeling so many things all at once right now. Excitement, anticipation, and and yes wondering what it is like to be on an airplane for 14 hours…
