Megan’s March MADNESS Missions fundraiser sale was a HUGE success! : )
I am in awe of the love that God is pouring out onto my life right now! I am so BLESSED to have the Sisters in Christ that the Lord has blessed me with to help me along this journey of faith. I am so thankful that I have friends who are believing in me with audacious faith for the calling God has placed on my heart.
This weekend on Saturday March the 19th was a last minute moving sale! I so, so thankful for all the support, preparation, donations & prayers that the Ladies & some gentleman of my church showed this weekend. God is really opening doors and supplying my every need and for that I am so thankful! We had a blast in the process. Jammed out to some Christian tunes, got to shine the light of Christ onto strangers, tell them about Threads of Hope & spoke life into strangers buying random things. I even got to practice saying Jesus Christ in spanish; “Jesus Christo”.
Special thanks to Courtney for letting me have the sale at her house! For Erika for being the best e-group leader ever and for being the most AMAZING short order breakfast cook! YUMMY. Thanks to Krysta for her book donations! Also to any of the other girls who donated: Melissa! Jessica for your time, donations & support! Thanks to Jennifer for your amazing RECORD donations which we all got much laughter about & took lots of silly Pics.

I went into this thinking of it as a fundraiser & God turned around and showed me it was MUCH, MUCH more than that. God has multiple purposes in EVERYTHING that he does.
Someone who came to the sale didn’t even end up buying anything, but was interested in Missions work. Her name was Courtney. I got to encourage her and tell her what others have encouraged me about; the money will come if it is God’s will!! God was working in her heart and as she drove away she had to come back to give me a $20 donation! Thank you so much Courtney for being one of the generous strangers that I got to help as you have blessed me! Our words can truly be a blessing to someone who needs a little extra encouragement! I know every single person that came that day God had orchestrated them there for a purpose. Those who didn’t buy anything may have really just needed to hear some inspiration & story of hope about what God could do in their life! I am falling in love with being able to tell people about God & Missionary work is RIGHT here in our CITY. Not just in other countries. SO MANY people just need a hope. A reason to believe. Jesus is the answer. We are the solution through Jesus.
This past week I have realized it is either ALL or NOTHING. Either I believe God has great plans for me life or I don’t. Either I believe the Holy Spirit and the power of Christ is at work within me, or I doubt it. With faith and radical change there is NO in between. During the “Resistance” series at my church today, Pastor Steven Furtick preached about complacency and not getting so caught up in comfortable Christianity. I don’t want to be a comfortable Christian. I would rather be a little radical and out there!
Feeling overwhelmingly blessed, loved & full of joy on this Sunday evening!
Over $445 was raised from the moving sale which was only 4 and 1/2 hours! We will be doing this again on April 29th-30th! Celebrating every victory!
This is not counting all the bracelet sales that have been happening which I will be posting a separate update on! I am not checking my support account until April1st as I feel God is calling me to trust him in this process that he will provide.
