For the GLORY of It All.
5.30.12
The Lord has been revealing and speaking to me a lot about His GLORY lately. How we live for this purpose to glorify HIM…our sufferings and all of those things that we endure that we don’t understand are to comfort another person, and to ultimately bring glory to the Father. God talks much about his glory and how through suffering our character gets shaped into more like that of Christ. Then through God, we find hope…this hope does not disappoint us…but it brings us comfort and God’s glory and splendor can be revealed through our trials. So that in these difficult circumstances we don’t rely on ourselves but that we rely on the Father…he is worthy of ALL the GLORY. Oh Glory; For the Glory of it ALL! Not at all for any glory for ourselves but all for God.
There are times we have to wait for blessings or answers to things we don’t understand; God does this so he can remind us he is in CONTROL not us. So that we can give him glory, and honor, and praise when HE is the one who answers prayers. He is the one that blesses. Not by our power or might or strength but all by GOD’s power, might, and strength. For his Glory. So we can praise him…So we can praise him through the storms. After the endurance we can testify that God is good; his love is good, his plans are good, his purposes are good. He’s just so, so good!
Sometimes it is the simple things. That if we just get to wrap our mind around a concept God gives us wisdom about we can understand more about Him and his purposes. It’s all about you Jesus…

Here are some verses God has been highlighting the word GLORY in for me to share:

And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.”- Romans 8:17

“Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”- Romans 5:3-5

“And those he predestined, he also called; those he called he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified“- Romans 8:30

“Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!”- Revelation 7:12

” For the scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”- Romans 9:17
