Bringin’ the Kingdom

While in Manilla, I have truely experienced the Kingdom of Heaven being brought on Earth. Kids International Ministry is a ministry that doesn’t sleep. Literally, God sustains this place with the Holy Spirit and an annointing like no other. I loved being a part of this ministry and it was an honor to serve here…

Here is a little glimpse of what I got to do while here…

*FEEDING! (Tent City, Philippines) <3*

As we pull up to the location the children start running after the van, and scream with excitement….

“FEEDING!!!”

I was able to go to a few feedings while here working with KIM ministries & it was a huge eye opener to the poverty in the Manilla community. Upon coming to the Philippines from Africa, it appeared from the outskirts of malls & street lights, that this area wasn’t so bad. After going into the communities I had realized the gap between the low income & high income was very significant here. Many people just build on public property until told by the goverment to move for lack of sufficient income to pay for the homes that they need. Without an education here, it is difficult to find even a job at McDonalds.

The Philippines will forever leave an imprint on my heart…The children are so precious..Just waiting for love…and God called me to bring that love.

While here in Manilla for two weeks I was able to love on pregnant teen moms, pray over prostitutes, feed those bellies who are without meals, love on children with no home who live under a local bridge, hang out by playing with Josie’s girls (Josie’s Angels) who are teen girls in a home KIM started for abused girls, dig dirt out for the foundation of the new school being built, and love on the local kids on the streets here….

Some of the kids we met live under this bridge…

We were able to provide them with a meal & balloon animals… & LOVE.

Although we were only here a short time it was great to be a part of this ministry. There is so much going on here with this ministry that it is impossible to be involved with everything. The children’s home, the Angels’ home, project after project, community outreach programs, daily feedings (2 a day), among many other things! This ministry is amazing and is really bringing the Kingdom of God.

Here is a video my teammate Emily made of the last 2 weeks in Manilla…!
