My name is Megan Kendra Montgomery
But everyone calls me Meg!
*I am 22 years old
*I am an only child
*I grew up always having 3 cats, but I 
ALL animals!
I am a HUGE animal lover and one day I want to start, or be an active part of, an organization promoting animal rights, advocating against animal cruelty, and helping abandoned and abused animals.
I now have the most wonderful, precious, energetic, entertaining, vicious, most handsome cat EVER (and he plays fetch!!) He makes my heart smile and he makes me laugh at least 5 times a day.
*I love to laugh
*I have been living on my own and supporting myself since I was 17.
*Music has been a major blessing to me and is an extremely important part of my life.
I love a vast array of music and artists, but my favorite kind of music is RAP. I love the rhythm, the rhyme, the flow and the mathematics of it. I love the impact of a brilliantly compacted, graphically poetic line.
I don't know I mean, for me, an insane beat, with meaningful lyrics projecting vivid imagery and provoking thoughtful feelings, in combination with the deliverance of the lyrics, sends chills up my spine and sparks something deep in my soul.
Some of my favorite rappers are: Tupac, Mos Def, Dead Prez, Talib Kweli, Biggie, Nas, Zion I, The Roots, & Drake
*I love to write! Journalling, poetry and song lyrics have been my main form of creative expression since I was young, and for me is a therapeutic release.
*My dream career is to be a CHRISTIAN RAPPER. I want to change the way people look at rap.
*I enjoy living a healthy, active lifestyle. My body is my temple and I like to fuel it with nutritious foods (though I can't deny my sweet tooth) and push my body to the limit. I try to sweat once a day, either by running, weight lifting, plyometrics, strength resistance, soccer, volleyball, kickboxing, snowboarding or rollerblading.
*I LOVE SPANISH. I think it is the most beautiful language. I also am just in love with the South American culture, the people, the lifestyle, everything! I can speak and comprehend fairly well, but my goal is to be able to speak Spanish fluently.
*Another goal is to learn how to play the guitar. (To put lyrics to as well, not all the songs I write are raps!)
*God put a desire and passion for traveling on my heart about 6 years ago, but it never really worked out as I had planned. Now I understand why it never worked out before: I was meant to find Jesus first so I could travel with a purpose!
I have to admit I love hot weather though, and I'm kind of a beach bum. I absolutely love swimming, wave jumping and snorkeling. I got back from Mexico month ago, that was my 2nd time there. This time last year I was back packing through Costa Rica for 18 days, but that is the longest I've ever been away from home. I've done a bit of traveling in the states when I was younger: California (track and field camp), Maine (Mom's side of the family, I actually have dual citizenship), Florida (Disney World), and Washington (Sasquatch Music Festival) but that's about it. Haven't done much traveling in Canada either. I'm very stoked to see more of God's beautiful creation!

*Nature is a huge inspiration for me, especially in my writing and photography. God's glorious creation absolutely enthralls me. Sometimes it literally takes my breath away.
*Jesus is my Everything and has truly drastically transformed my life. God placed two very important people in my life who placed significant seeds in me, but ultimately, He made them grow. I was introduced to Jesus when I was 20 (almost 21) years old, and overwhelmed by His love, I basically instantly believed. (I will share more about my testimony later) I started truly living for Christ in October of 2010, and was baptized on December 19th, 2010.
* I want to have a big family one day. I wasn't really close with my family growing up, and it was always very quiet. I always wanted siblings so I think that's why I kind of want what I didn't have. If God sees fit, I dream of having a wonderful, loving husband, 3-6 kids, and a houseful of pets and unconditional love. I look so forward to having my own family, and bringing my children up with them knowing how much Jesus loves them, and that they are never alone.
*I want to make a difference in this world. Through Christ, the transformation has occurred within me. Now I want to help mankind and animals, and give my life to God's service, for I am not my own. No matter what Gods destiny for me is, whether it's a Christian rapper, or a journalist, or an author, a human or animal rights activist, or a pastor, or a mother, I honestly just hope to fulfill His will for me. I hope that He will use me and my individual gifts, for the common good of the people. So that I can be a part of my ultimate dream: to live in a world where every single soul experiences the love, redemption and sanctification in Christ Jesus, and where everyone praises His Holy Name. A world that lives in unity and harmony and peace. A world that is Heaven on Earth.
