….. but sometimes it is.
Quick update: I'm headed out into the middle of NOWHERE for the next month – Kampong Spue, Cambodia. I will be teaching English and Bible Study to children of the nearby village. My living conditions will be a one room cement slab building with electricity but no plumbing – bring on the squatty potty. We'll have no internet and I couldn't be more excited! I know it'll be super challenging, especially over the holidays, but maybe I'll finally pick up that ukulele I just had to bring along (a quick tune for you dad).
Thank you everyone for your continued prayers and financial support, it has meant more to me than you'll ever know. Stay tuned for a more detailed blog of exactly who and how your money has blessed families around the globe!!
I've had a couple of lovely people ask me if there's anything else they can continue to do to help out with the World Race. YES YES YES! Thanks to God blessing me with meeting so many amazing people who need so much help – my funds are quickly dwindling. If you're interested in helping out, I'm trying to raise $2,500 more. If you're looking for a nice tax deduction, please donate to my World Race account online BUT if it makes no difference to you then feel free to donate to my bank account directly. Chris and Terry Liesmaki have been kind enough to offer up any assistance you may need in making a donation – feel free to contact them at any hour 🙂
Thank you for continuing to walk alongside me on this AMAZING journey.
I love you all and pray for you daily,
Megs
