It’s funny how you forget how truly powerful God really is. I mean Wrap your brain around this if you can; God Always WAS, IS, and Always WILL BE. I mean WOW! Wow! Not only that but he made the Universe! The whole Universe and EVERYTHING in it! From every galaxy in the sky, to every molecule and atom we are made out of. I mean Everything! And the best part of all this is that He, the creator of the universe and all things in it, is Totally Completely and Madly in Love with You! Yes you!
You are more important to him than the sunrise and the billions of stars in the sky. He cares more about you than your own Momma! Is this as big to you as it is to me? The “Creator” Himself created you, every hair on your head, every bone in your body, every pore on your face, clogged or unclogged he created it, and he loves it because it’s a part of you!
You matter, and you were created for a purpose. You are not perfect, and you never will be, and you will continue to make mistake, after mistake, after mistake, and they will usually be the same dang one, but He forgives, and loves you anyways. God created the mountains and beaches but takes more delight in you when you trust in Him, and love Him, and talk to Him, and work on your relationship with Him.
Living in a beautiful town in south west Colorado I am blown away more and more by this because I am surrounded by so much beauty God created in nature! Last Monday as I was leaving Mesa Verde National Park the sun was setting and it was “stop the truck on a steep windy road and pray no one comes round the corner, cuz I’m takin’ a picture, beautiful! And I looked at my dear friend Cindy as she was taking in the sunset as well, and told her “Isn’t it amazing that God created this sunset and he created you and me and loves us more than all the sunsets in the history of sunsets and future of sunsets to come!”
