I love you. These are powerful words. The Father tells us that this word stands for something that is “patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends…” {1 Corinthians 13:4-8}

I’ve been thinking a lot about the Race lately. It is a constant thought as it draws nearer and nearer. It is interesting the different thoughts that come up about the Race, different excitements, different anxieties, different worries, different joys, different things that put me in awe that I get the opportunity such as this to make the name of Jesus famous in 11 different countries all around the world.

One thought that has been consuming my mind lately is this-

Dear sweet people,

Sweet people in Mozambique, in Malawi, in Zambia, in Cambodia, in Thailand, in the Philippines, in Colombia, in Ecuador, in Peru, in Argentina, and in Chile-

I love you.

I love your very souls and care about you so deeply. I love you so- that I am “not insisting on my own way,” that I am “believing all things things, hoping all things, and ready to endure all things” for you and with you.

I can’t wait to meet you all face to face. But I really do love you already. Oh if you knew all the sacrifices I am making for you, to God be the glory. There are actually many people loving you right now- my family and other loved ones letting me go for these 11 months to come serve you as I serve Jesus Christ. These people supporting me to come to you, these people praying for me and for you. They are loving you as I am.

I hope you know, sweet people, how dear your souls are, how important you are, and how dearly loved you are.

See you soon,

Meg

Crazy, huh? It is the out-pouring and cry of my heart these days. I love these people already BECAUSE I love my Jesus. I am EXCITED to SERVE these people, because I will be serving my Jesus.

To think of loving people you haven’t even met yet is a crazy thought- but it’s a true one.

Please be praying for these people today- these sweet people we will be coming into contact with. Pray for their souls today and pray for opportunity today.

I just cannot thank you enough for loving with me.

Because of HIS LOVE,

Megan Fridell

“And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.”
