I have been a little discouraged at the fact that there was noone going on the WR that was from the Dallas area that I knew of. I have been reading some articles from people saying that they were all from around the same area and stuff, and I kept praying that the Lord would send someone from the Dallas area to go on the WR at the same time I was so I would be able to talk to someone and better connect with them. I know that sounds like a strange prayer request, but I have had a discouraging time in the past when I was getting everything together to go on a long term mission trip. If you’ve ever gone on a long term mission trip by yourslef before then you know what I mean. I takes a lot of dillegance, patience, encouragement, trust, faith, and a lot more. And if you’re anything like me you need alot of accountability to make sure everything is where it’s supposed to be when your getting ready to leave on a mission. So I say all this because when I opened my email today I had an email from a girl named Teagan. She said that she is from Denton, wich is where I lived for a year and where all my friends are, and she was talking with some people that know me and they told her that I was going on the WR. And it just so happens that she is also going in September!!! I can’t believe that the Lord answered what seemed to be such a silly prayer request. Just when I thought I had to go through all this by myself again the Lord blesses me with this amazing girl with the same heart as me, and only 45 minutes away from where I live!! I can’t wait to get to know her, and start this amazing WR journey together! What great news.
I pray that the Lord will continue sending us all blessings through out this amazing journey ahead of us!
