Today was the best day I have had since I have been in Thailand. After church I asked Pi-Nien if she wanted to have her English lessons, she said yes. Right when we sat down to practice four other women came and sat with us because they wanted to learn, too! It was so amazing! I had the time of my life. I never really knew that I would enjoy teaching, but this I love. I think I have more of a heart to teach the older generation, because they never had the opprotunity to learn in the classroom like their children are being able to. I feel like I am teaching children, because they have to learn such basic lessons. I started out with greetings, and then worked on pronunciation. ‘Hello, how are you? I am fine thank you. What is your name? My name is ______. How old are you? I am ___ years old. Where are you from? I am from ______.’ Very simple things to me, but it took me about two hours to get through this lesson. It was amazing! All they want to do it practice, and they have such a hunger to learn. Then after the lesson Pi-Nien painted my finger nails and toe nails. So much fun!

The greatest ministry is when you are able to build relationships. I’m not sure where the Lord is leading me, but I think it may be something like this. He has also given me a very strong desire to learn Thai—it’s very hard, but really neat. They have such an amazing language. The conversation lesson I thought her she taught me in Thai. Now I know how to count to 100 (well I am still practicing, but I know at lease to 20 by heart). I am eager to learn even more! I am going to be very sad leaving here, but I am guessing that is how it’s going to be all year. I am excited to see all the people God is going to cross my path with this year.
