I have been home for 3 days now. I am back to working as a nanny and working at Chilis at night. It has been a little difficult to be back in the swing of things, and I have been alowing tht Lord to continue to work in me. I have been doing well at keeping a prayerful atitude and seeing people as Jesus sees them. I have had a great time with my family, and we have been getting along pretty well. My two sisters and thier kids have been going to church for the past two Sundays!! Praise the LORD! I knew that since the Lord has worked in mighty ways these past two weeks Satan would try to fight against what God has planned for me and my family.
My sister Ricki called me today and told me that she had this dream: She was in Hell and she was standing in front of Satan, and he was laughing at her and telling her that she wasn’t going to go to Heaven. He kept telling her that and laughing in her face, and then she started rebuking him in the name of Jesus and calling him a liar. As she did this his hands melted into his face and he turned from her and went the other way, and that was it. Then the next night she was in bed and she had just fallen asleep when she heard a voice whisper in her ear “Ricki”. She shot up out of bed and there was noone there. Her boyfriend was asleep next to her and both her kids where sound asleep in another room. Then she laid back down and pulled the sheet over her face. A few seconds later she feels something sit down next to her on the bed. She was so scared that she couldn’t move. She just laid there and the thing that was next to her never moved. She finally just fell back to sleep. She called me today and told me all of this, and she said she thought that maybe I would know why that happened. I told her that it was Spiritual Warfare, and that Satan wasn’t happy at the fact that she was going to church and is wanting to change her life over to Christ. I told her that as long as Satan feels like he’s loosing the battle he will continue to try and attack her-until she fully commits her life to the Lord, because the blood of Christ will always overcome Satan’s power. Not that we as believers don’t experience spiritual warfare, but we have THE greatest power on our side.
I just thought that it was interesting that all of this is happening right after this incredible week and my sister going to church. Satan is not happy, and he is going to continue to attack my family-but I know that the Christs blood is over us and won’t allow Satan to destroy us. Please pray that my family will continue to see Christ at work and that He will give me wisdom as to what to say and do when these kinds of things do happen. (sorry, I am still working on my story telling abilities).
