Xalapa, Mexico                                             I have recently been accepted to the WR and I am so excited about it! I can’t believe I am accutaly going to go! I have prayed about it and I belive that this is what the Lord has for me right now. I just got back from Mexico a few months ago on a 2 month mission trip. It was amazing, and I have been ready to back onto the field ever since I have been back home.

Just a little history incase you’re wondering: I grew up in Texas and when I was younger my dad would take us every sunday to Mass. Then when my parents got divorced, when I was 7 years old, we didn’t go anymore. So when I was in middle school my friend invited me to go to church with him. It was a nondenomenational church. This is where i accepted Christ and was baptized. I attened that chrch for about 4 years and then I swithched churches. When I went away for college I didn’t have a very good home church there. When I came back home I attend another church and this is where I found my calling as a missionary. I have a passion for people in need of the Lord and all I want to do is spread His Word throughout the world. That’s when I went to Mexico for 2 months and built up my passion to go out further into the depths and spread His love. The Lord has blessed me so much, and I am so thankful for this opprotunity to go along side my brothers and sisters in Christ and do what HE has called us all to do. I come from a family of nonbelivers-so I’m sure you can imagine how hard it is to talk to them and try to communicate why I would ever think about going to another country to tell people about Christ. Please be praying that I can be bold and trust the Lord, and to use His words and not mine to tell my family about this amazing opprotunity the Lord has placed in my life. I look forward to talking to you all and meeting everyone at the traing. God bless-You are all in my prayers!
