Hello again friends and family!
So after yesterday my blog on support just wasn’t sitting well and I wasn’t sure why and then this morning I figured out why. As I sat in the living room of our contacts house surrounded by the orphans and the women that care for them I was humbled. I saw the need. I saw their ripped clothes, I heard of their school fees and medicine that were needed and then I thought about my blog.
It’s not about me.
The Lord will provide for me, I know that full well. He has promised and he has always been faithful to that promise. This month that is the meditation of my heart as well. He has asked me to trust Him to provide for ALL of my needs (Phil 4:19), to ask Him and know He will provide. So I know that what I personally have right now it is all that I need. When there comes a time that I may need more, he will respond and he will teach me what I do and do not need.
So I come with a REVISION and REQUEST.
If you want to support and bless me this holiday and birthday season I ask that you help me bless the orphans and women here. God placed it on my heart this morning during prayer to ask Him to help me meet the physical and immediate needs of the children here while I’m here. In that, I come to you and ask for help. There are 30 orphans – 15 who live on base (picture below) with us and 15 who live off base with aunts and uncles. With around $15/child I will be able to purchase new clothes and/or medical supplies for each of them.
How can you help?
Since I am doing this out of a personal burden and desire, it is personal funds that will make this happen. If you want to help me and sponsor and/or support an orphan and this gifting please send your gift to my parents house ( 1226 Clearview, Flushing, MI 48433) by Wednesday, December 22nd. They will deposit this into my account and then I will be able to go and purchase the supplies and clothing. If you have questions you can email me and I will respond as soon as I have internet again (around December 22nd).
