My team and I screamed with excitement in Nicaragua when we found out we would be working with babies for Christmas! We had been praying since our first month in Panama that we would be placed with the Legacy of Hope Foundation. God answered our prayers!

This month we are working with the Legacy of Hope Foundation in Santa Rosa del Copan, Honduras. This ministry is a foster home for infants and children up to the age of four run by the Spangler family. They primarily accept abandoned babies and are the only place that accepts abandoned children in their region. They may have a child for a fews weeks or they will be adopted if no other family members can be found. At this moment the Spangler family has adopted 7 children from Honduras. I would love for you to meet these 7 beautiful children.

Meet Anthony!  He is 3 years old and he exudes joy! When I walk into the room he will run up to me yelling, “MEGGGANNN!”  and jump into my arms. He loves to play with his toy cars  and ride his bicycle! You can always find him with a smile on his face and ready to play! Anthony was let go of by his mother because she was unable to care of him after she suffered from a severe case of domestic violence.

Meet Brenda! She loves to dance all the time! When she dances sometimes she gets so excited her whole body shakes because she doesn’t know what to do with all of her excitement! Brenda is Anthony’s little sister and these two love to play together! Brenda is one of the sweetest little girls you with ever meet! She has a care free spirit and loves to smile and laugh.

Meet Ashlynn! She came to the Spangler family from an abusive home. This little girl has a big personality and is very sassy! She loves to watch Yo Gaba Gaba and will eat anything!

Meet Christian! He was abandoned by his mother at the hospital. This little boy is a stud and he knows it! While I vacuum the house Christian will follow me around and help me. He also enjoys sitting in his toy car and being pushed around while he makes the motor sound for the car!

Meet Isabella! This sweet little girl was abandoned by her mother under a bridge and still had her umbilical cord attached to her. Izzy is full of life and has a very sweet temperament. She is easy going and loves to laugh and smile!

Meet Hosanna! She was abandoned by her mother at the hospital. Hosanna is a very content baby. It doesn’t take much to make her happy! She is happy playing on the floor with her toys or being held!

Meet Kaleb! He was abandoned by his mother in the hospital while he was in the intensive care unit due to seizures. This little bundle of joy is content laying under the Christmas tree or playing in his exercise saucer. He is a very easy going baby.

These are the babies I have been loving on all month. My days are exhausting, but are filled with so much joy because of these 7 little miracles. We help feed them, bathe them, change them, and hold them. These little children teach me everyday to choose the joy of the Lord despite feeling exhausted and tired!

UPDATE:  PRASIE GOD! I AM FULLY FUNDED! I would like to thank everyone for their generosity! Your prayers and support mean so much to me! I could not do this without each and everyone of you!
