We made it to Puerto Rico safely!!! We are currently in a small town called Vega Baja renovating a 47 yr old church. Tomorrow we are taking over the church service. We will be preaching, worshiping and giving our testimonies. I’m preparing to give my testimony in Spanish for the first time. Keep me in your prayers!!
We work hard during the day and at about 3pm we head back home. There are 20 of us staying in a 3 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms and no furniture. It sounds like an interesting predicament but there will be worse living arrangements in the near future. 🙂
The people here are great. I’m already getting attached to their loving culture. And don’t let me get started on the food. Soo delicious!! The locals are very nice. Some of the youth church members took us to the beach on our day off. A few days ago we got a chance to check out some Indian caves and go cliff jumping.
We will be heading to the Dominican on January 31st. We will be serving with our whole squad which includes 45 people for the entire month of February. Love you and miss you all!!
