Jesus.
He is one crazy, wild man…..and man, do I love him!!!
He is blowing us up here in Honduras, and it is SO GOOD. 🙂

The World Race in Honduras is…interesting, to say the least! It's different, it's hard, it's fun, it's challenging. It's a little bit of everything.

I'll explain….

We are living at Zion's Gate Ministries this month with some boys who are recovering from being out on the streets,  being dependent on drugs, along with things you can't even imagine. And on Sundays, we have church with them and actually listen to THEM preach the Gospel. No joke.

These are boys who were very recently out on the streets, living in some of the most dangerous parts of the world.
[fun fact: Honduras is the most violent country in the world.]
These same kids are now preaching the Word and evangelizing here in Honduras. It's incredible. Words really don't do it justice!

On a side note, team Hebron has been given the daunting task of chopping down a Honduran jungle wi…..wait for it….nothing but machetes! haha it is truly entertaining. So we spend 8 hours a day, every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday getting crazy in shape for Jesus…Team hott and holy!!! (props to Christina Young for that official title…). It's good, quality bonding time with the Hebronites, for sure 🙂

Thursday's are spent working with troubled adolescent girls who have been removed from their home communities due to the threat they pose to the rest of society. We'll be spending time with them, sharing testimonies, painting their nails, doing hair, making bracelets, and just sharing the Lord's love with them! There are also special needs children there, which I'm pretty excited about! We are confident and EXPECTANT that God is doing a mighty work there. We're just blessed to be a part of it!

Fridays are spent ministering to people on the streets in Tegucigalpa. We hold up signs, sing, dance, pray for people, and just have a good time sharing Jesus' love with people as they're stuck in horrible traffic. Bringing a smile to people's faces….that is the goal! And it's super fun!

We'll also be venturing into some pretty dangerous communities on Saturdays, so please be in prayer for our safety in that ministry specifically, but also just in general! We know the Father has His hand over us and we're excited for the next couple of weeks here!

Until next time…..much love and God's blessings over each of you!
