Riding in a 60 passenger bus, on a Honduran road, on the way to Guatemala, month one behind us, and more than we can imagine lying ahead. There are so many thoughts running through my mind.

Different lessons the Father has been teaching me over the past month, like…
My full identity being found in Him, what that really looks like, and how to live it out DAILY.
Recognizing and owning my sonship– the fact that I am His DAUGHTER, His beloved one, the bride of Christ!
Total surrender of self.
Experiencing and soaking in the JOY of the Holy Spirit.
And finding rest and peace in the Father…just to list a few.
There is so much to process, but as I look ahead toward the month to come, it all boils down to FOCUS.
Fixing my eyes on Jesus, and never taking my gaze off of Him!!!
Focusing on the things that are eternal; on the things which are unseen.
The Truth that everything falls into place when our hearts are TRULY focused on Him, that nothing seems impossible when He is the center of it, and the unending joy He provides within our spirits — that is no joke, my dear friends!!!
The Spirit of our Father lifted Jesus Christ from the dead, and that same Spirit lives inside of each of us!
holy moly, what good news!
What in the world could we EVER possibly have to fear?!?!?!?!
Sickness? Nope.
Depression? Definitely not.
Anxiety? My Father ceases it in an instant!
Even death has nothing on Him — He defeated it and stands victorious!!!
During the month of August in Guatemala, I am focusing on fixing my gaze on our crazy, awesome God, simply because HE. IS. WORTHY.
He is above all things! He is above time, He is above distance, BY Him and FOR Him all things were created. So what better way to be a strong, effective vessel for His purposes than to place my eyes on Him, and never take them off again?
That's my encouragement for each of you as well. We have the power of Christ, the Spirit of Christ, and the mind of Christ dwelling within us. It's about time we start living like it and allow Him to move MIGHTILY in and through us!!! Because when we are in constant connection with the Father, absolutely nothing can hold us back 🙂
