My name is Megan Arguell and I am living the dream.  I have been blessed with what I see as one of the greatest opportunities in the world – to travel to 11 countries in 11 months to share the hope of the gospel and the love of Jesus Christ.  I am going on The World Race.  I would be lying if I told you that I didn’t wake up some mornings and question what I’m doing or how I’m going to make it to launch in September.  I have doubts and I have days where I just don’t know how it’s going to happen.  How am I going to raise $16,255?  How am I going to live out of a hiking backpack for 11 months?  How greasy is my hair going to look?  That’s supposed to be my toilet?  You get the point.  But the thing is, I serve the most powerful, righteous, and gracious God.  It’s not me.  It’s me and Him.  He is the one I have chosen to follow for the rest of my days, He is the one who is always with me.  He has the greatest plan for my life if I would only trust in Him.  (As if He’s ever let me down before!)

I am so excited to go on the World Race.  Over the past few years, I have fallen deeply in love with the world and missions.  There is something so magical about God choosing and using ME to share His love with the world.  I can’t wait to meet new, beautiful faces of people of all ages, embrace new circumstances, pray with all that I am, and let go of the things of this world.

So just in case you don’t know me, I am 23 years old and I just graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Elementary Education.  I have done mission work in Botswana, Honduras, and Austria and I am so excited for the new experience that the Race will offer me.  I am ready to get down and dirty in the Lord’s truth and goodness. I am ready to GO like Matthew 28:19-20 calls me to do.  So.. I’m ready, God.. or at least as ready as I’ll ever be.  Let’s do this.
