Hi friends,

God has done incredible things in my life recently. I graduated from the amazing The Ohio State University in May 2014 with a degree in Social Work and a minor in Spanish. Upon graduating, I was faced with some hard decisions of what I was going to do next after college. And this is when God lead me to the World Race…

My passion for Spanish and Latin America began a while ago when I first started taking trips to the Dominican Republic where I fell in love with the people and what God was doing there. My mission trips there became more frequent, and I eventually went to Guatemala, where I also fell in love with the community and culture. I believe God has put a love for Latin America in my heart.

The next thing He has called me to is the World Race, which is an 11-month mission trip. I am leaving in January 2015 and I am visiting El Savador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Chile. The Lord has called me to love and take care of His people, and to share the good news about Him. What an exciting adventure I get to go on!

I would have not made it to this point by myself. I have an incredible supportive family who has stood by me in all my crazy endeavors. And I have a wonderful community of believers who have helped me grow in faith and walk in truth. I have beautiful friends who have encouraged and supported me as I have prayed, considered, cried, or avoided this decision. And of course, I have God who has lead me to this next step in living for Him.

I also have had financial supporters and prayer warriors who have invested in me and my mission trips over the years, and for that I am so deeply thankful. This next trip I am going on in January will be $14,250. If you feel led to support me, whether financially or prayerfully, know that I will be deeply thankful. And that you will have played a part in what God is doing across His World. You are having an impact in Latin America, because you are sending me. I am just a broken vessel that God is using.

I hope you follow me on this journey to see what God does.

With all love,

Meg
